Pilates Qualification
YMCA LEVEL 3 Diploma in Teaching Pilates (Practitioner)
The Level 3 Mat Pilates provides you with all the essential teaching skills to deliver a safe and effective Pilates class.
You will acquire all the skills from foundation to advanced levels to help you progress a programme of Mat Pilates exercises and how to use small equipment (mini ball, bands and Pilates circle.)
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this qualification, however it is expected that candidates have a basic level of knowledge and experience of practising Mat Pilates prior to entry.
Qualifying Requirements
To achieve your YMCA Level 3 Diploma in teaching Pilates (practitioner) you must complete the following 6 units:
- Providing a positive customer experience in the exercise environment
- Lifestyle management and health awareness
- Applied anatomy and physiology
- Principles of planning and delivering group exercise
- Principles and fundamentals of Pilates
- Plan and deliver a Pilates session

The course will be delivered face to face at Braintree Sport and Health Club.
