YMCA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Group Exercise to Music (Freestyle)
Become a qualified ETM instructor and inspire fitness through music.
The emphasis on freestyle teaching allows you to express your creativity, personality and imagination when delivering a studio class.
This qualification is a must have to advance your fitness career, ETM provides the backbone of studio based exercise and providing many employment opportunities.
You will learn how to deliver a safe and effective exercise class for a wide range of people with different fitness levels.
You will receive over 30 hours of face to face tutor training and support by email or telephone throughout your learning.
Prerequisites
This qualification has been specifically designed for the 16 plus age group and ideally learners should have some experience of group exercise through personal practice.
Qualifying Requirements
To achieve your YMCA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Group Exercise to Music (Freestyle) you must pass 5 units:
- Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Fitness Instructors
- Providing a positive customer experience in the exercise environment
- Lifestyle management and health awareness
- Principles of planning and delivering group exercise
- Plan and deliver group exercise to music (freestyle)
